About Siesta Sunbeds
Siesta Sunbeds is a Darwen-based domestic sunbed hire business serving customers across our local delivery area.
Thank you for visiting our website. Here you can view a wide selection of domestic sunbeds available for hire and purchase to suit every home - small or large, pocket and taste - including a good range of ex-rental models.
Whether you're looking to hire or buy, we have everything from traditional foldaway canopy sunbeds and double units to the next-generation salon-style sun showers. Our units are fitted with 0.3-compliant tanning tubes, designed to operate within the recognised European sunbed irradiance standard. UV tanning still carries health risks, regardless of the equipment used. Siesta Sunbeds only hires or sells tanning equipment to customers aged 18 or over.
A well-established & trustworthy company
We specialise in sunbed hire, so our customers receive modern, regularly updated sunbeds. Our office is open 7 days a week, 9am–9pm, for enquiries and bookings; delivery and installation are normally carried out Monday to Friday during daytime hours, by arrangement. Four-week home hire is available - contact us for current prices and availability - and we occasionally run extended-hire offers during our quieter months. A range of new and ex-hire beds is also available for sale - contact us for current stock and prices.
Over 35 years of tanning at home
Established in Rishton, near Blackburn, Lancashire - originally known as Rishton Sunbed Hire.
Moved to two new locations in Lower Darwen and Mill Hill, Blackburn, and changed our name. It let us expand our range, cover a larger area, move into sunbed sales, and offer free delivery to mainland England & Wales on all new purchases.
Added the 24-tube 240w Vertical Unit to our range - it became our most successful and popular unit to date.
Having sold off all our 100w flat metal sunbeds in favour of the modern curved beds and ever-popular VTUs, we moved to a larger unit in Lower Darwen.
All 160w units were upgraded to the latest high-powered New Generation Evolution XSR 240-watt tubes.
Became Siesta Sunbeds Ltd.
Introduced the fantastic Sapphire Vertical - a game-changer for its salon-style round appearance and features: 24 × 6ft 0.3 tanning tubes, lightweight, cost-effective, electronic ballasts (no flickering or darkening lamp ends) and longer-life R-UVA tubes.
During the COVID period we extended our fleet, selling off our traditional 160w foldaways and VX240 sunshowers and replacing them with the latest electronic 0.3 tanning models.
