Benefits of Sunbed Home Hire
Hiring a modern Sunbed to use in the comfort and safety of your own home is the most convenient way of achieving a beautiful healthy suntan. If you are going on holiday or to a special function where you want to look your best, an attractive tan is a great way to achieve this. You might even let your friends and family use the Sunbed and perhaps share the cost between you. This will save you valuable time by not having to visit high street salons.
Our History
Siesta Sunbed Hire and Sales was established in 1989 in Rishton, near Blackburn, Lancashire and was originally known as Rishton Sunbed Hire.
In 1999 we moved to 2 new locations in Lower Darwen and Mill Hill, Blackburn. As a result we changed our name, despite our concerns about it affecting our excellent reputation and customer repeat record.
We feel we made the right decision and subsequently were able to better cater for our customers by:
In 2004 the new 24 tube 240w Vertical Unit was added to our Sunbed range and became our most successful and popular unit to date.
Over the next few years and by 2010 we had sold off all our 100w flat metal sunbeds due to the higher demands for the new plastic modern curved beds and of course the ever so popular VTU’s
In 2010 we move to larger unit in Lower Darwen. By 2011 all 160w units were upgraded to the latest high powered New Generation Evolution XSR 240 Watt tubes
In 2012 we became Siesta Sunbeds Ltd
The fantastic new Sapphire Vertical units was introduced in 2016. This was a game changer not only by it’s salon style round appearance but by it features as well.
During the COVID period (2020-2022) we extended our fleet by selling off all over traditional 160W Foldaways and VX240 Sunshowers and replaced them with the latest Electronic 0.3 safe tanning models.
